As the world is coming back to life I’ve noticed changes in myself, and I’m sure many of you have experienced the same things. Lately, I have spent more time refreshing my wardrobe, refreshing my beauty products, working out more – the list goes on. It’s almost overwhelming. The past year and a half have pretty much been a makeup-free, ultra-casual hiatus. Rather than try to overanalyze it, I say celebrate what we are walking into. It brings tears to my eyes to think about how this is a second chance at life.
Over the past few weeks, I have found my self-care rituals with Amayori’s products changing a bit. Though my baths have not been as frequent, the ones that I do take are long and languorous. Soon, we will have less time again. But as we move forward, I urge you to take a moment to pause and remember the lessons learned. The rituals you’ve created and the care that you’ve been giving yourself are just as important during this transitional time as they were last year. Take time to take care of yourself. Take time to stay grounded.
To stay grounded and connected with yourself, dive into Amayori’s Hinoki Onsen collection. Hinoki wood, Atlas cedar, and Haitian vetiver will help you keep your feet on the ground. Or, if you are already feeling in mid-flight, these deep, meditative, essential oils will help you come back down to earth. Rose geranium will help balance your emotions, and jasmine sambac will help with your overall mood.
To stay connected and grounded, slowly and thoughtfully wash with the Hinoki Onsen Aromatic Body Wash. This is an excellent way to take time for yourself every day. Make this moment yours and lather and massage your skin for as long as possible. Breathe deeply. Next, soak. Taking time for a bath is a gift and an incredible way to leave the world behind and truly care for your entire being. I suggest the Hinoki Onsen Camellia Japonica Bathing Oil for an ultra-aromatic soak that will cocoon the skin in pure comfort.
If you’d like to go even deeper with relaxing, follow with the Hinoki Onsen Body Misting Essence and Hinoki Onsen Hikaru Multi-Use Oil. I also suggest these two products because, as with the body wash, they can be used any time of day and are part of what I consider to be a daily body care ritual.
After all this, have some tea or a glass of water. Make this time yours. Breathe deeply, give yourself a hug. Lie down, place your hands on your heart, and enjoy the happiness and gratitude of this very special moment.
Warmest wishes,
Françoise
